YELL COUNTY UTILITIES

 DANVILLE: Electrical service is provided by Entergy Corporation of Arkansas and natural gas by Reliant Arkla Gas.

Water is processed and provided by the City of Danville utilizing a new state of the art, 2 million gallon a day water treatment plant and an existing three million gallon a day plant.

The city sewer facilities is currently under renovation and improvements have been steady over the past several years thanks to the passing of a local sales tax to fund such projects.

Traditional Cable TV for the city and surrounding communities is operated by Suddenlink of Arkansas.

Arkwest Communications, an independent operator based in Danville provides state of the art telephone services for Danville and surrounding communities. Arkwest also offers state of the art DSL Digital cable television and High Speed DSL Internet for residential and business service.

Cellular telephone service is provided by several wireless carriers with towers located in Danville.
